It's 4k when you add a 4k compatible device like let's say xbox 1 s it recognize that the tv was 4k and asked if I wanted to broadcast in 4k and the most obvious way is to play something in 4k like a 4k youtube video or 4k Netflix but tv is definitely 4k.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TV auto senses what "input" you have selected. If the input device is not 4K capable then it will not show 4K on the screen. In other words you have to be watching 4K content in order for the screen to display in 4K. 1920x1080 is 1080p. 3840x2160 is 4K. The TV will display whichever it is streaming.
