“Difference between the KS and MU tvs? Are the MU SUHD quantum dot?”

• I asked that exact question before purchasing my KS8500 and never really got an exact answer. The way it was explained to me is that the MU is still a UHD Tv but that it uses a different technology than the quantum dot SUHD. The guy said that the QLED is supposed to be more like LG's OLED tvs, hence the name. Apparently the blacks are supposed to be blacker which makes the picture cleaner. I ended up going with the KS because the construction and all around quality of the KS seemed to be much better than that of the MU. Also, anywhere I looked, the reviews for the KS model tv's are spectacular and the Best Buy associate that helped me said that it was one of their best selling tv's of all time. That is ultimately what helped me make my final decision.
