“I am trying to connect the TV to a Phonak TV Link II. I have tried the optical cable directly to the TV and also to the sound bar. I have tried connecting after disonnecting the sound bar. I have also tried the analog (headset port). No luck,”

I know this an old question , but for the Phonak TV Link II to work the TV has to set to -- Menu > Sound > Digital Audio Out > PCM. It will not work if set Dolby Digital. Of course my audiologist stated it would work.
