Yes, mostly when tv is off.

I do have two wall sconces that I keep off when viewing the TV, but I did this with the previous tv as well. If glare is an issue for you, back light the TV instead of having lights on in the room. This will make for easier viewing and cut the glare. Make sure lights have shades on them and use a dimmer if possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have noticed some glare when there are ceiling lights directly in front of the set are on and the viewer is in the center of the screen. We have the set oriented at a downward angle and try to keep the ceiling lights off or at least low. When we do this the other lights in our room are not objectionable to us and the picture is excellent in our application.
