A:Answer I'm running a hk-f8500 from the fourth (last) HDMI socket on the all in one. Make sure you use a HDMI cable the has ARC and HDMI-CEC capabilites (don't use one of those older ones you might have laying around the house), so your sound bar can receive the signals needed for the TV to control it.
The main thing we watch is Directv Now thru an Apple TV (4th gen). When we flick the Apple TV on, it sends a signal to turn the Samsung TV on, and then the TV sends a signal to fire up the sound bar thru the HDMI-CEC cable (providing you have the TV sending the audio output to the soundbar).
All in all it's pretty sweet - and it's pretty cool to flick one button, and fire up all 3 devices. This should solve your sound volume, and control issues up...
