- Answer I just purchased this TV and I am happy that I did. It has a great picture! To answer your question: Yes, this TV comes with a stand. You do it yourself, just clip it in, and screw-in 4 screws, it's very durable.

- Answer That's pretty much normal depending on the TV model/series. Higher end tend to display non hd programs pretty good, but it's still easy to tell it's not hd. visit https://lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtvreviews/reviews.shtml and find your TV, see what they say about it.

- Answer Hi: Yes, your new Samsung should work without the Cable Box! I have mine turned off regularly (I have DishTV Satellite), since I usually turn it off before going to bed and when we're not watching TV programs, we are streaming amazon and Netflix as you are with no problem. I personally watch more stuff online than regular TV. By the way, don't you just love the 4K picture? Best, MarcB53 Southern California
