“Does remote have the standard number and letter (words) key pad?”

• No, it has a 7 button remote with a doughnut and selector switch in the middle, then a channel and volume bar near the middle, if you want a keyboard it has inputs for a wireless desktop also, it synced with my Samsung smartphone, so I can use that for a controller too.
