“I have had the worst trouble mounting this tv because of improper screw sizes (not deep enough to reach the bottom holes.) I threw away the screws in the original box by mistake. Is there some alternative I can try or am I screwed?”

Go to Home Depot and get the 8 mm screws that should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the exact same issue except I didn't throw them away. the solution was to go to Home Depot and purchase new bolts for the mount in the back. very cheap fix.
