A:AnswerIt does have a timer to turn the set off but I'm not sure about setting it to turn on to wake you up. I do know however that if you're severely hard of hearing, like me, find another TV! There are no ports to plug into for headsets or for my external wireless headsets. So now I have to find a sound bar that I can use my wireless headset whenever I want to watch anything streaming! The picture is great but the on board speakers leave a lot to be desired by those with good hearing.
