“I have a Samsung Sound Base HW-H600 and it will not work with the NU8000. I tried PCM no go Dolby digital no go. I tried Bluetooth also nothing. This soundbar is older and I am wondering if it is a software issue. I have the base plugged into the ARC.”

I had a four year ZVOX sound base that we tried to connect. Worked fine with the cable however it would not work with programs streamed over the internet. Ended up investing in a new Samsung sound bar with a sub. Used an HDMI rather than optical, and it works and sounds great.
