“Is the one connect box required for this TV? I have a mounted outlet and in-wall AV so no wires show. The one connect is not rated for in wall, so can I use a normal power cord and av cables with this TV or am I stuck with the one connect?”

No it isn’t necessary. I couldn’t hide my wires so the guys that hooked it all up did such a great job. But if you did it yourself that’s awesome too. It’s a great alternative for the ones that can’t hide it. By the way, the TV is a great view
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the One Connect box is required, as it actually is the power supply in the latest model. I think on past models there were two power cords, one for the One Connect box and one for the TV itself...in mine, there is only one power cord to the Connect One box. The cable that connects to the TV is very very thin but carries the signals and power to the TV.
