“What happens when the room goes dark, does the frame TV stay lit so you can see the picture it or is it dark like a regular painting?”

• It stays lite. You can set it up to go on and off by motion detection. I believe there is a setting to adjust image brightness based on the brightness/darkness of the room. I use the motion detection setting. You can specify the amount of time to remain on after motion is detected.
