In my opinion with playing Gears of war 5 freesync makes little to no difference It’s a little quirky
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the Q80 over an OLED specifically because of gaming. HDR looks great. Don't notice any input lag (there's a setting you need to turn off in the game mode called game motion plus to get lowest possible input lag). I'm sure OLEDs perform great too but if you're a heavy gamer and often have static HUD elements on screen for extended periods of time the OLED screen might get image burn. As far as the Q8fn I have no experience with that.
