The One Connect box appears to function as everything-but-the-screen. It's the power supply, the brain, and the I/O. So, yeah, you would still need it as it runs a single cable to the TV panel that is likely proprietary for Samsung and must carry all signals and data. Pretty slick to me, as an IT professional, since it would make problems and repair/troubleshooting simpler to just send in the box instead of the whole TV when all signs point to anything but the panel having issues. Sorry if more info than needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are no inputs on the TV.The one connect box is where all the inputs are.Without it you will not be able to connect anything to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! All the connection for the Tv run through the one connect. Even the power for the Tv! The one connect is the only way to connect to the tv. The tv does not have convention hook ups on the unit itself.
