• I personally have not set this tv up in an outside covered porch, but a good friends has. It works great. He just makes sure to cover with an outside tv cover when not in use and bring in during the winter months.

• Definitely not from what I read. The humidity and extremes of temperature would ruin it. Samsung makes an outdoor TV.
