A dvd player would be a waist on this tv. The graphics are only as good as your poorest device. This is a 4k ultra high def tv. The dvd player does not offer 4k and would be a waist if you cared about the $ you just spent to get one of the more advanced tvs out there with a high def picture. The best thing you could get is a Samsung Blue Ray player so you do not lose picture quality. It would downgrade your picture with dvd player.
