Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, looks like a beautiful tv that is turned off when not on. Power would have to be on to have any picture come up on any tv as far as I know. I would not buy this tv if you are looking for a painting. Spend the $ on a painting if that is your concern. I would recommend the tv if you were looking for a high quality tv. I still have my last Samsung tv, it is 8 years old and works perfectly.
