- Answer The mount is different from other previous models, as the base is a consolidated central platform as opposed to two legs. The base is about 14 1/2 inches. So subtract from the overall width and it will be equidistant for each side.

- Answer If the remote has a clear screen on the back, you can place it in the sun or a bright window. You can always plug in a charge cord at the bottom of the remote and charge as you would your phone.

- Answer I tried this and yes you can connect BUT there is no volume control. It will be very LOUD. Not recommended.
