What is the advantage of a curved screen ? null

My Samsung curved tv sits in the corner of the room and is GREAT for viewing,

It’s a great gaming video screen. I use it for flight simulator or the kids love it for fort nite or Xbox. Up close it’s immersive. Not sure of an advantage from a distance.
