“Brand new, had this dryer just over a year and out of nowhere it screaching and making a very loud noise. I bought a warranty on this exact dryer but they said they dont do anything for the noise. It little sounds like something is scraping. Recall ?????”

I had the same problem with my Samsung dryer. (Bought from their competitor).My was screeching and making noise like it was rubbing something it shouldn't be touching. I made the mistake of trying to manually rotate and push on the drum to see if noise would stop. I felt it shift like it had dropped downwards a little. Alot of people have had similar problems with the drums. Might be a idle pulley. I'm gonna go check it out on YouTube and hopefully fix it myself. .
