Thank you for the question. You are correct that the two dryers you are considering, the DV419AEW and DV407AEW, have basically the same features. The key difference is in the aesthetic design: the DV419 has chrome-colored trim to match the WF419 washer, and the DV407 has silver-painted trim to match the WF407 washer.
