“Unlike the matching washer, and previous versions of Samsung dryer, there does not seem to be an option for saving your favorite setting rather than go through all the button punching . Am I missing something.”

No worries!! Set your cycle then tap the My Cycle button at the top right of the control panel (see picture) and you're all set!
