- Answer Great question, BIRD! Yes, this dryer can be converted to use propane using an LP conversion kit. You can find details about which kit you'll need on page 13 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/33OGqS0). Samsung does recommend having a licensed professional perform the conversion due to the risks associated with gas and propane. ^Jecca
