“is the vent opening in the back or side of unit or both We are concerned of the depth of the unit. If the air vent comes from the side we have no problem but if we must also allow room for the vent hose in the back the depth will be a problem. Can you help me”

Thanks for the question. The DV393ETPAWR, like other Samsung electric dryers, does come with the vent opening set up in the rear of the unit, but it can be converted to vent out either the right or left side, or through the bottom, using the DV-1A vent conversion kit.
