• Hi Karty, The DV52J8700GP would need to be connected to a cold water supply in order for the steam feature to function. The Dryer comes with the Y-connector and hose to connect it to water, or you can use the non-steam cycles if water isn't available. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
