- Answer If you don't want to use the steam feature, it is not necessary to hook up. The rest of the dryer will still function properly without it. ^Lo

- Answer Yes, and it has to be heat resistant so it’s metal. It does NOT come with the appliance, must buy sperately.

QuestionHow would you rate this dryer on wrinkles? I have a 10 year old Kenmore that just does not cut it when it comes to removing clothes without a lot of wrinkles, even on the "WrinkleGuard" setting.

- Answer This dryer removes wrinkles really well due to the steam function. The moisture helps to release the wrinkles. It will do really well just remember to pull them out immediately and fold them, wear them or hang them, if they sit in the dryer for too long they will wrinkle again

QuestionCan this dryer be set up to vent from the side? There is much space on the side of my dryer rather than the front. The vent in the wall is also to the left of the dryer.

- Answer Yes, you can vent this dryer to this side.. There is a round cut out on the sides so you have to pop the circle out.. I have never done it so I don't know how difficult it is, but you should be able to YouTube or Google a video that would show you how

QuestionHad this dryer for less than a year and the dryer won't heat up, then it changes the timer to 1 min and cut off. What could cause these problems? No clog in the vent

- Answer Yes, the dryer can be vented out the side, but it requires the purchase of a side vent kit and the installation of that kit. I purchased the dryer and after installation realized that there was not enough room behind the dryer to vent out the back. - Answer Hey there Ally! The Eco Dry button is in the bottom right corner of the display. Pressing it once should disable this feature. I also have this link (https://bit.ly/2CxlpM0) that can help you determine why the dryer will not start. ^Jecca

QuestionThe specs say "app controlled" but what all does that entail? We have seen some with a spot on the top to plug in an "adapter" to control the cycles and get alerts. Can you control the cycles and get end of cycle alerts from your phone on this model?
