“I need to stack Samsung gas dryer DV42H5200GP on WF42H5200AP. What kit do I need? I just purchased this set (for delivery next week), and now realize there's not enough room to fully open the washer door(against a nearby counter with laundry sink). I'll stack them near the corner. The gas supply, at floor level, is in the corner (to the right side of where they'll go). The dryer vent , at floor level, is behind where they'll go, about 27" to the left of the corner. And the drain/water supply (wall recess, 30" off the floor) is about 4 feet to the left of the corner. What stacking kit (and what extensions, if any) do I need to order?”

The SK-5A Stacking Kit accessory will enable you to stack the DV42H5200GP Dryer on top of the WF42H5200AP Washer securely. Please refer to the installation requirements outlined in the user manuals, which can be downloaded in advance from Samsung's website, for details on dryer venting so you can purchase the necessary vent ducts. The drain hose that comes factory installed on your washer is approximately 6' long, and can be extended, if necessary, by purchasing another section of hose, then attaching it to the original hose by clamping them together with a steel sleeve. Samsung recommends a vertical discharge of no more than 9', with a maximum of 13' in any direction, based on the pump's capability. Thank you, Ms. Samsung
