“Can this dryer be side vented?”

• Yes, the DV42H5000EW Electric Dryer can be changed to vent out the left or right side, or the bottom, instead of the rear which is the factory default, with the help of the DV-1A vent conversion kit accessory. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

• Yes it can there is a plate on either side that comes off and allows for a side vent.

• The vent is made on the bottom middle of the back side. I don't know if you can maybe buy some sort of kit to side vent it or not but as it is, it is on the back.
