I used a pedestal from my old Samsung on the new Samsung ( chosen so I didn’t have to buy a new one). The holes on the base were different. I just set it on top without fastening. It seems fine. The dryer doesn’t vibrate so it works. I probably wouldn’t try it with a washer. They do vibrate.
