The remote included with this television is the "Samsung Basic" remote. They've had this remote for several model years now...it is not bluetooth. If you want a smart remote, you can purchase the BN59-01259B. This was the last available Samsung smart remote that is not bluetooth.
I like that it is a full remote (42 buttons) with numbers, menu options and hotkeys. The downside is some of the most used buttons (play/pause, etc.) are down at the very bottom.
