Hi Danno, No, the TV will not automatically default to the last used HDMI source. The TV will default to Samsung TV Plus at startup. To change it to Samsung Smart Home instead, navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option. ~Samsung Advisor
