Does it need a sound bar and sub woofing? null

The TV speakers I guess are adequate for some viewing. But if you want good sound and good bass. Then I would go with a soundbar or a surround sound system. Running the video through a good AV receiver improves the quality tremendously.

We put a soundbar and subwoofer on and it sounds a lot better
