I actually have this tv in my bedroom and my wife stays up late so I cannot sleep with the tv sound on so I bought her a Bluetooth headset that you control the volume right on the headset and you can control the tv volume separately. They actually sound great you can hear things you cannot with the regal sound from the tv. I find myself using them when I don’t need to because it sounds so good. I hope this helps you
