Yes it does have a over the air tuner. As a matter of fact - the OTA channels in my area show better than my local channels that come thru my ATT U-verse cable via HD. I can't believe how well they show and I have probably one of the cheapest antennas out there - think I got it at a competitor store for less than $12.00
