A: Yes it does have a over the air tuner. As a matter of fact - the OTA channels in my area show better than my local channels that come thru my ATT U-verse cable via HD. I can't believe how well they show and I have probably one of the cheapest antennas out there - think I got it at a competitor store for less than $12.00
Q: we have a really dark TV room, can the brightness of the TV be too much for that type of room?
A: It depends on two things: 1. The settings in your picture menu. 2. The content you're watching. You can change the settings in the TV to "Movie" mode, rather than "Dynamic", which is designed for brightly lit rooms. In other words, it's adjustable to your tastes, and you can change it for dark-room settings. Movies filmed in the outdoors with higher lighting will be different than some of the more recent Marvell Comics or war movies, where the filming is done in lower lighting. So while it may be "too much" with a bright movie in Dynamic settings, most people can find a satisfying combination of television settings for every movie that they can enjoy. Q: Mounting TV
A: Yes this Samsung can be wall mounted. Best Buy is an authorized dealer for Sanus tv brackets and wall mounts. There are several different models that fit this tv. Sanus VXF220, VLT5, VLL5 will all fit, it just depends on wether you want a tilt mount, full motion or fixed position. Hope this helps. If Best Buy doesn't have one of the above mounts in stock, I'm sure they can order one for you.
Q: When doing Skype, where is the mircophone? Or how does it transmit sound?
A: This Samsung Smart TV has Voice and Motion Control, so while using Skype, you can just say the name of the person you want to call. The Smart Touch Control has a built-in microphone that allows you to communicate with the TV. Any other sound should transmit through the speakers. I hope that helps!
Q: Samsung 75-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Slim Smart LED HDTV sound system
A: This unit includes a television, but not a surround sound system. A surround sound system would be purchased separately - and many makes and models are compatible with this television. There is not a tuner built into the television, however many of the Smart TV Apps do have music features (like Pandora) that will allow you to listen to music with limited or no commercials using your existing Internet connection. Q: Cloudy Images During Dark Scenes
A: Maverick, We're sure sorry to hear that you're having a difficulty with the screen. There can be some minor screen uniformity with any panel where some areas of an LCD panel can be slightly lighter. But it sounds like yours is a more extreme case, and needs to be further looked into.
