We purchased this TV specifically for the motion rate and sports viewing- it's been phenomenal! I believe all LEDs operate at 120, but models such as this offer technology to enhance the motion rate to eliminate blur. I've watched basketball, football and hockey with NO complaints. Well worth the upgrade from standard 120 rate units

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not 240Hz as stated above. You will be hard pressed to find a 240Hz LED. It is 120Hz with additional technology to increase the appearance of a higher refresh rate. The technology used to achieve this is different among the manufacturers. You may want to check some breakdowns and reviews of the tech used by the different manufacturers. A quick search and you can find conversion charts that show the true HZ Rating based on the manufacturer's misleading terms.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First you do slightly notice a little jitter during some fast moving scenes worse when up close to the tv. It also depends on what you are watching. Some of my DVR Star Trek episodes are almost unwatchable do to jitter but regular television it's almost unnoticeable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the best TV you can buy for the money . Motion clarity is perfect with a good signal. You have to make sure you're using the proper HDMI's and I found that running through my $2000 Integra receiver made the picture worse because you're only supported 24 frames per second play back. so if you're running through your receiver make sure I can do 60hz. If it can't, run a high-grade HDMI cable directly from your cable receiver to your television and you will be astounded by the clarity of the picture.
