A:AnswerWe purchased this TV specifically for the motion rate and sports viewing- it's been phenomenal! I believe all LEDs operate at 120, but models such as this offer technology to enhance the motion rate to eliminate blur. I've watched basketball, football and hockey with NO complaints. Well worth the upgrade from standard 120 rate units
A:AnswerYes and yes to your question. Netflix currently offers some 4k movies and they look great. I also have Vudu and Amazon Prime, all great. Enjoy.
A:AnswerGo 7100!!!! The Best Buy people will push hard for the Sony. The Sony has an IPS panel and the contrast and black levels are less than desirable with the lights off. The Sony does well for very wide viewing angles in well lighted rooms. In regards to motion both TVs are comparable with the edge to the 850D. The flaw of the 850D that you won't hear is poor contrast and black levels in dark rooms. The JU7100 is a great all around TV in light rooms, dark rooms, sports, movies, and TV bells and whistles.
A:AnswerYou may use the Expand rechargeable 3d active glasses or Samsung's 3d active glasses (I prefer to use manufactures glasses made for the TV). Suggestion, buy the rechargeable glasses you will find you will get much more viewing from them. I had the battery operated and they are good for maybe one and a half movies.
A:AnswerThe Mosk,
HDMI 2.0 is supported on all Samsung UHD models. You should also check to make sure you have the latest firmware update installed.
Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.

A:AnswerStick with the same brand. After owning two different types rest assure that it's better to own the "rechargeable" ones than the battery powered ones. If not satisfied, you can always exchange them with something else. Make sure they are the "active" type.
