I recommend that you go to the specifications page on Best Buy web site. This will inform you if the dimensions include the stand or not. Usually the stand adds about 2-3 inches to the height. We mounted on a 10 ft. wall, therefore no problem with the height. The TV is very clear, great color especially in 4K.
