We also have a 65 inch curved screen TV, whose excellence motivated the purchase of the larger television for the family room. The picture quality is superb. Add a sound bar or surround sound speakers for an awesome movie experience. The television is extremely easy to setup, as well. I have been very pleased with this TV. • A:Answer It's about 3 1/2 inches thick. By the weight of it when we mounted it, there is ABSOLUTELY no way someone could just walk by and blow it over. So....no, it doesn't have to be wall mounted.

• A:Answer I purchased my tv a month or so ago and from what I remember it is the color palette mainly. Most of the newer versions have significantly more colors in the spectrum, but for the most part you will not be able to tell the difference unless you have a 4k UHD Blueray player. But even then it will be minor and not impact the viewing experience.
