• Hi miztrniceguy! The AU8000 features a wired LAN port allowing a more stable connection to the internet should you choose not to use WiFi. The HBO Max application is available for download through the TVs Built in App Store. ^Tim

• We use it as a wireless connection. Yes on HBO Max. Has everything you could every want - Netflix, etc.
