“I found the four wall mount washers, I think that is what they are called, but no screws were included? and the washers don't go all the way in the two top holes on the tv, the bottom ones fit perfectly. is this by design? or is my tv defective.”

It’s the design. I went to Home Depot and got the metric bolts for mine, screw it in the back and mounted it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - The washers are fine, the TV is not defective. The washers are designed to provided a flat surface for the TV mount. The TV is not perfectly fat in the back. The screws that go into the back of the TV would be provided with the TV mount you purchase. I can tell you that typically on these new samsung 7,8 and 9 series you will need washers to make up a gap between the mount and the TV and also longer screws than what come with the TV mounting kit. These can be purchased at a local home center, and I would recommend taking the small and long screw size that fits the samsung and get one size larger of each. Hope this Helps!
