Yes, there is an RF connection and a digital tuner.

However, owing to living in a poured concrete mid rise and having windows facing into tall trees, I often had to move this around to get all of my stations. Sometimes just an inch or changing angle of antenna trying to get all the terrestrial signals. Several of the apps from cable and satellite providers now include some local stations. Using DirecTV Now myself but there are others
