“As far as ARC, is it a high output (more than 2.0) to handle dolby,atmos thx etc to highest standards, on adding sound bar or surround? why spend 1000k on top of line equipment if a 150 dollar sound bar will be close enough.”

You definitely don’t need a high end Dolby Atmos supported sound bar to get great quality sound. I have the Samsung 6 series hooked up to this tv and it’s incredibly fine.
