“Soap Opera Effect/Deep blacks? Does this TV have "Soap Opera" effect or bad motion blurs? Also, are the blacks really deep? I really love my old Plasma but know I eventually need to upgrade. I haven't seen an LED come close to plasma with true blacks and cinema quality.”

Hey Steve. Sorry to respond so late. There are so many options on this TV it is incredible. There is a setting that will allow the TV to have a "Soap Opera" effect, but there are also settings that will take that away and still have the realistic view and effect. Again, with the settings - I set mine up to have excellent black color depth while maintaining excellent brights and contrasts. It has been my experience so far that the settings make all the difference - there are numerous pre-defined settings, but you can also set it up exactly how you want - I use different settings for different viewings (ex: movies vs. sports).
