“Does the Samsung un82nu8000 allow the TV speakers to be ON while still allowing audio out thru the ARC hdmi connection? I wish to have the TV speakers on and audio going to a receiver.— Max”

• I connected my receiver using the optical connection. Since doing so, sound only comes out through receiver.

• YES I HAVE A DEF TECH SYSTEM CONNECTED TO MINES AND I USE BOTH SPEAKER SYSTEMS.
