I can't answer that with any specific knowledge beyond what is given. It is either 60mhz or 120mhz - and I believe it is the latter. I based everything off the picture quality and how well it handles a lot of screen activity that can actually be seen by the "naked eye". My understanding is that the human eye cannot discern a difference at all on a true refresh rate above 120 mhz. and very little difference at even 60 mhz. The real issue with all UHD TV's is the fact that very little content is available that is in a true UHD. As such, the picture is probably less clear that a standard HD TV for a lot of content being broadcast. That is noticeable on both of the UHD TV's I have. But when you get a true UHD content, the picture is purely amazing.
