“I notice this TV has a center stand vs the legs. Has anyone had any stability issues with the stand? Have a 48 inch stand which is not big enough for most larger TVs with the legs. This is expensive but I wouldn’t have to buy a larger stand or mount.”

I haven't owned this TV for very long but so far there has been no stability issues. This stand is VERY heavy. As the TV sits on top of a mantle, I do plan to hook up some earthquake straps to protect it should there be an earthquake.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The center stand is designed to support this TV and is VERY HEAVY to act as a counter weight. It definitely supports the TV and is also made to accommodate placing a soundbar inside of it take up less room in front of the TV.
