“I notice this TV has a center stand vs the legs. Has anyone had any stability issues with the stand? Have a 48 inch stand which is not big enough for most larger TVs with the legs. This is expensive but I wouldn’t have to buy a larger stand or mount.”

I haven't owned this TV for very long but so far there has been no stability issues. This stand is VERY heavy. As the TV sits on top of a mantle, I do plan to hook up some earthquake straps to protect it should there be an earthquake.

The center stand is designed to support this TV and is VERY HEAVY to act as a counter weight. It definitely supports the TV and is also made to accommodate placing a soundbar inside of it take up less room in front of the TV.

I works fine unless you have kids that might fool with it. Then I would possibly add a wire on the top to prevent any possible accidents but otherwise it is pretty stable
