No it will not connect to a 5G network. It would have to have the carrier signal card inside of it then. It hooks onto wifi though. so if you have a wireless hot spot, it could connect to that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Here is MY OWN situation: I am connected at HOME to Frontier-FIOS-5G for internet+Tel+TV. I have router(s) which give Wi-Fi signal. My QLED 82" receives this signal and shows my selected YOU TUBE music videos. That is ALL we do. We do not GAME ever. We surf the NET on our PC's. Side Note: I HATE the commercials pushed by my Samsung, AND my other LG-OLED-55" TV does NOT. IF I knew that, I would have bought another LG. I sure wish someone tells this to Samsung Marketers=Geeks. We bought BOTH TV's (total $7,000) from BEST-BUY, and I wish one of their GEEKS would come and help me FREE.
