“Does the tv produce a incredible amount of heat like the previous model? I returned the previous model recently because of the heat it created. Our bedroom became so warm due to the tv being on it was uncomfortable that the ac was needed always”

Tylerstruve, the Q900TS has Direct Full Array with Local Power Distribution; there are more lights in the TV to give you improvements in brightness and contrast. This may make the television feel a bit warmer than the Edge Lit models. ^Gina
