The issue is eARC not ARC. "Enhanced" ARC is not persistent on devices that have eARC when connected to this TV. I have 2 of the exact same TVs and both have the same issue. Use the latest Apple TV 4K that has eARC and connect that to the TV's eARC HDMI port and you will see that the eARC connection will be lost and only ARC will work.
