“This TV struggles with maintaining eARC and will switch to ARC for no reason when connected to the latest Apple TV4K. When is this going to be fixed? We need eARC persistency! Very I have 2 of these TVs in 85" purchased from Best Buy Total Tech.”

The issue is eARC not ARC. "Enhanced" ARC is not persistent on devices that have eARC when connected to this TV. I have 2 of the exact same TVs and both have the same issue. Use the latest Apple TV 4K that has eARC and connect that to the TV's eARC HDMI port and you will see that the eARC connection will be lost and only ARC will work.
